Dene Film’s award-winning horror film Ghost Street has continued its frightening run of success with the announcement of FOUR nominations at the prestigious IVCA Awards in London.

The film’s Producer and Writer Chris Chapman commented: "We’re massively chuffed to get this recognition from an award ceremony as big as the IVCAs. Ghost Street is doing us all proud and is only just beginning its roll-out." Director Steven Boyle said "I can’t wait to see how we do on the night – I’ll be keeping everything crossed that we can come away with something big." Award nominee Peter Groom commented "I’m extremely pleased to be nominated for this award, especially as its on an international stage. Bring it on!"
Ghost Street is a short film commissioned by Newcastle City Council and Safe Newcastle to convey a strong road safety message to young people aged 12-16. The film is currently being taken into schools in the region and will shortly be rolled out nationwide. The film tells the story of Tabby, a teenager who is knocked down by a car, only to find herself awaking on the same street – but haunted by the walking talking carcasses of all the other teens to have ever died there.
