The first of our films on Doctor Who for BBC DVD and 2|entertain!

Dene Films, BBC DVD and 2|entertain have developed a relationship that has gone from strength to strength. Dene Producer, Chris Chapman is a life-long (some might say ‘insufferable’) Doctor Who fan and – finding himself in a professional position to do so – approached the BBC and convinced them to give Dene a stab at producing TV-standard documentary content for the classic Doctor Who DVD releases.



Time Zones is a short documentary featured on the special edition DVD for the classic Patrick Troughton story The War Games (1969) - exploring the real life wartime context of the story. It features some outstanding animation from graphics artist Dyland Wynne and an excellent edit by Dene’s Topher McGrillis.

Chris has now completed six Doctor Who documentaries for the BBC, with many more to come!
