Dene Films

One North East approached Dene to develop execute and help launch a campaign that would nurture sports talent and help improve performance. Inspiring participants to reach their full potential in sport and physical activity including future Olympians and Paralympians, before, during and after the London 2012 Games.

Dene was engaged to make a film that showed not only the passionate and committed talent in the North of England, but to also showcase the world class facilities available to teams of athletes for the 2012 games.

Dene conducted interviews with a range of current sporting talent, to show the athletes in their training environments, working towards their goal of qualifying for the Olympics.

A range of sports were covered, and cut with library footage of previous sporting achievements in addition to footage of children training to be the next generation of athletes. This was blended with inspiring music, to create a film that illustrated the passion for sport in the North East region.
