Dene Films own self-promotional film was borne from the desire to have something on our reel that was made by us, for us.
Steve took one of his favourite formats from the 60's and turned it into a hunt for the people behind the mysterious clues, that were scattered around historical buildings.
After finding cast to play Mrs. Peel, Steed and Mother, the team tracked down a powder blue Lotus élan, some 60's wardrobe, a 50's bus and some amazing locations including a replica French Chateau, which houses the Bowes museum. We even found a British Racing Green Bentley for Steed, but couldn't fit it into the story.
The film shoot itself was tricky, due to problems with the weather and using old cars, but the end result was a great homage to some 60's television icons.
