Clydedale and Yorkshire Bank (both part of the National Australia Bank) were looking for a production company to produce a continuing series of looping, 40-minute films, that would be displayed on plasma screens within their various branches up and down the UK.
The films would be put together in an accessible, broadcast TV style, featuring profiles of various businesses, events and organisations that have links to the bank. Profiles included featuring a top London restaurant, another for a big motorsport event, and even one about a Liverpudlian superlambanana (whatever that may be).
Dene Films produced a pilot film to demonstrate how we would approach the project, and off the back of that, an ongoing commission to make these exciting films was born.
Dene also produces a purely internal monthly film for the banks - known as IFSTV, this is essentially a video newsletter of what is going on within the banking structure. The film features interviews with various key staff at Clydesdale/Yorkshire, delivering vital information in a crisp, clean style.
