Dene Films achieved its first BAFTA nomination in 2011 for the film "Stammer School"

"Stammer School" was made for CBBC and follows a group of young people as they receive help for speech difficulties at the Michael Palin Centre. The film has also picked up a Gold camera award at the US International Film festival

"The Last Cast" was been commissioned by BBC North to be shown on the anniversary of the mothballing of the blast furnace in Redcar. Starting with exclusive footage and interviews shot on the last day of steel production, the film follows a group of workers as they adjust to life outside Corus and contrasts this with the attempts to find a buyer for the plant. The film also won a Gold Camera award at the 2011 US International Film Festival

We have also co-produced two 6 part series for ITV (Wayward Women) and FIVE (Big Art Challenge). Dene continues to develop ideas for network braodcast.
